The 400 pound weight limit accounts for the weight being distributed across the stand. The stand itself does not come with any rings. There’s a metal loop in the center and two metal loops in the corners of one bar (meaning one loop per corner). Clips and rings come with the swings themselves. Traditionally, most swings come with just one clip/ring, which will attach to the center loop as shown in the middle picture here. The corner loops are usually used to tie or clip on additional restraints like cuffs, as seen here. The three metal loops on the stand are all melded into the stand.
